Last month, FedScoop and Brocade hosted the Federal Forum 2015, which brought together government and industry to discuss new ways to leverage the modern network for federal agencies.

The event proved to be a tremendous success and highlighted key topics such as how to best modernize existing data infrastructures while lowering costs and meeting ever-expanding mission goals.

Key discussions also focused on some of the challenges that agency CIOs face today. These include data protection and cybersecurity, budget resource issues, as well as how to effectively modernize the network in today’s complex business climate.

GovTransformer had the opportunity to speak with Judson Walker, Brocade’s systems engineering director, who provided a comprehensive summary of the topics and themes covered at the Federal Forum 2015.
