Federal agencies are beginning to embrace the concept of the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) as a means for enhancing IT efficiencies and meeting mission requirements in highly cost-effective ways.
In addition to enhancing provisioning efforts, the SDDC extends virtualization concepts such as abstraction, pooling and automation to all data center resources and services for the federal government. Agencies also need to consider developing the right roadmap and plan for migrating to the SDDC environment that support overall transparency and effectiveness.
